A Message from the President

Week of March 30th

FSB wants you to know that we are here for you and we are ready, willing and able to continue helping you with all of your banking needs. Even though our lobbies are closed, we remain fully accessible by telephone (319-377-4891) or by email ( We encourage you to utilize all of our tools such as online banking, mobile banking, ATMs, and drive-ups. We are here to serve you.

Thank you for all of your faith and trust in FSB. We are a strong family owned bank. We work tirelessly to insure your money is safe at FSB. We have all been through tough times in the past and we will endure this time also.

Planning for tomorrow is time well spent, while worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference between the two. Careful planning means thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry.

During this uncertain time, you can rest assured that FSB’s team continues to plan and take the steps necessary to keep our employees and customers safe. And remember – we must all do our part by continuing to practice social distancing, washing our hands frequently, and keeping our hands away from our face, mouth and eyes. We will come out of this pandemic stronger than before.

For those of you old enough to remember the old TV show “Hill Street Blues”, I’ll close with this: “Let’s be careful out there!”

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Our thoughts are with you and your family, and we sincerely hope all are safe and healthy.

Warmest regards,

Gene Neighbor
