Jon was born and raised in Iowa City where he graduated from Regina High School. He continued his education at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2002 with a BBA in Management and Organization.

For the past 16 years, Jon has worked in banking and finance in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids corridor, first for American General Financial Services as a Financial Representative and Branch Manager. He then joined US Bank as a Branch Manager and was quickly promoted to the Executive Leadership Team as a District Manager for 19 US Bank branches.

Most recently, Jon was a Commercial Lender at Central State Bank in Coralville before beginning his career as Market President for FSB’s new Tiffin office.

Jon lives in North Liberty with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters, Kennedy and Reagan. He is one of the founding members and current president of the non-profit Thunder Softball Inc. He is also an active member of the local Lions Club. In his spare time, Jon enjoys tailgating and attending Iowa football games at Kinnick Stadium.
