Celebrate 30 Years of Marion by Moonlight
Celebrate thirty years of summer fun at Marion by Moonlight as it returns with an exciting lineup of music, food, and community spirit. This milestone 30th anniversary concert series runs Thursdays in June from 6–9 p.m., bringing lively bands, tasty local eats, and a vibrant atmosphere to Central Plaza week after week.
Each event night brings its own theme, from our 30th anniversary kickoff with Crazy Delicious to a nostalgic 90s throwback, a patriotic evening honoring our nation and Veterans, and a season finale with longtime favorite Lonesome Road.
Parking: Free parking is available along streets near Central Plaza.

June 4, 6–9 p.m.: Crazy Delicious
Music from every genre and decade. Enjoy an energetic show featuring today's hits and yesterday's classics.
June 11, 6–9 p.m.: 90's Kid
Reimagined '90s songs with a Pop-Punk twist, taking us back to the decade when Marion by Moonlight started.
June 18, 6–9 p.m.: Schmidt Brothers
The popular band from Vinton will join us with country hits along with some pop and rock songs.
June 25, 6–9 p.m.: Lonesome Road
Returning this year with country, country rock, and '80s rock hits that everyone loves.

Marion by Moonlight FAQ
What items are allowed or not allowed at Marion by Moonlight?
You may bring a bag, folding chairs, blankets, and coolers into the park. While outside food and drinks are allowed, we encourage you to support our food vendors, who are all small local businesses eager to serve you.
We kindly ask that tents, pets, and glass containers not be brought into the park. Please note that smoking and vaping are not allowed in the park.
Is there an admission fee for Marion by Moonlight?
No, the Marion by Moonlight concert series is a free community event sponsored by FSB. There is no admission fee. Kids' activities are also free, but please feel free to tip our hardworking vendors!
How can my business become a food vendor at Marion by Moonlight?
Vendor spots for 2026 are filled, but FSB is always looking for new vendors for future years. Email FSB's Event and Marketing Coordinator, Gail Loskill, at GailLoskill@fsbmail.net, with your business name, a sample menu, and your contact information.
All vendors must carry insurance and bring their own supplies and equipment. Due to high demand, not all applicants will be selected.
How can my band perform at Marion by Moonlight?

Where is Marion by Moonlight located?
Marion by Moonlight takes place at Central Plaza in downtown Marion, Iowa. Free parking is available along streets near Central Plaza.
What time does Marion by Moonlight start and end?
Each concert runs from 6 to 9 p.m. The 2026 series runs four consecutive Thursdays in June: June 4, June 11, June 18, and June 25.
Is Marion by Moonlight a family-friendly event?
Yes. Marion by Moonlight is a free, all-ages community event. Kids' activities are available at no cost.
