FSB Launches Free Seminar Series to Support Small Businesses

Four Weeks of Business-Building Insights

MARION, IA – FSB is proud to launch and host From the Ground Up – A Small Business Series, a free, four-week program designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners gain the knowledge and tools they need to build sustainable success.

“At FSB, we’ve proudly supported small businesses for nearly a century,” said Steve Neighbor, FSB President and CEO. “We’re excited to share valuable resources from the SBA and other tools that can make a real difference in helping entrepreneurs succeed.”

Sessions will be held at the Cedar Rapids Public Library, 450 5th Avenue SE, on Mondays, September 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Each week will focus on a key area of business development. 

September 8 – Laying the Groundwork

Learn what it takes to start or strengthen a business, from strategic planning to understanding core operational principles.

September 15 – Financing Your Business

Explore financial management tools, funding options, and cash flow strategies for 
long-term growth.

September 22 – Promote and Protect

Gain insights into effective marketing and brand-building while learning to manage risk and understand small business insurance.

September 29 – Working Smarter

Discover how to streamline operations, access banking and SBA resources, and plan for future growth.
