Frequently Asked Questions
What is Mobile Banking?
+Mobile Banking lets you bank on the go using your smartphone or tablet. FSB Now is available on certified Apple and Android devices and uses your existing Online Banking username and password.
Do I need to download a new app after the platform update?
+No. You should receive a prompt to update your current FSB Now app. If you have automatic updates turned on, the app may update on its own. If not, open the App Store or Google Play and update FSB Now manually.
What does my first login look like after the app update?
+Enter your username and password, then verify your identity with a one-time passcode sent by call, text, or email. After verifying, accept the updated terms and conditions. From there, you can enable Face ID or fingerprint and turn on Save User ID.
Will the app save my username like it used to?
+Yes. After your first login, turn on Save User ID from the login screen. Once it is enabled, your username will be saved for future logins.
Does it matter what carrier I have?
+FSB Now works with most phone carriers. Contact FSB if you experience trouble connecting.
Can I use Mobile Banking on a tablet?
+Yes. FSB Now works on most tablets. If your device cannot support the updated app, you can still access Online Banking through your device's internet browser.
Can I manage multiple accounts in FSB Now?
+Yes. All accounts visible in Online Banking, including checking, savings, loans, and CDs, should be available under the same login in FSB Now.
Will I be able to see CDs in the mobile app?
+CDs tied to your Online Banking profile should remain visible in FSB Now. If a CD or other account you expected to see is missing, contact FSB so we can review your account access.
What types of transactions can I complete in FSB Now?
+You can transfer funds, pay bills, deposit checks, manage your debit card, set alerts, send money with Zelle®, and more, all from the app.
Will my scheduled transfers and bill pay payees carry over?
+Yes. Scheduled transfers and Bill Pay payees migrated with the platform update. Active recurring transfers should continue as scheduled. If you need to change an existing recurring transfer, delete the old transfer and create a new one.
How do I set up external transfers in FSB Now?
+Existing external linked accounts migrated with the platform update. To add a new external account, log in to Online Banking on a desktop browser first and accept the terms and conditions. Then go to Transfer & Pay, select External Transfer, and follow the prompts.
Will mobile deposit limits change?
+No. One-time and daily mobile deposit limits remain the same after the platform update.
Why can't I view my mortgage loan in FSB Now?
+FSB loan and mortgage loan information should remain available if it was previously visible in Online Banking. If a loan or mortgage account you expected to see is missing, contact FSB so we can review your account access.
How secure is FSB Now?
+FSB Now uses security measures including multi-factor authentication, encrypted connections, and automatic session timeout after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Will I need a one-time passcode every time I log in?
+No. The system reviews factors such as your device, location, and login behavior before deciding whether to ask for a one-time passcode.
Can I use an authenticator app instead of a one-time passcode?
+No. One-time passcodes are currently delivered by call, text, or email using the contact information on file with FSB.
Why won't the one-time passcode send me a text?
+Your phone number may be blocked from receiving text messages if you previously replied STOP to a text. Call (319) 377-4891 and we can help review your contact settings.
What if I don't have access to the phone number or email on file?
+Call FSB at (319) 377-4891 and a representative can help update your contact information.
What happened to security questions?
+Security questions were replaced by the one-time passcode process.
Will FSB ever ask me for my one-time passcode?
+No. Never share your one-time passcode with anyone. If you receive a request for it, call (319) 377-4891 immediately.
What should I do if I receive a one-time passcode I didn't request?
+Call FSB immediately at (319) 377-4891.
Will my saved biometrics work after the app update?
+You need to enter your username and password the first time after the update. After that first login, you can set up Face ID or fingerprint again from within the app.
Does information stay on my phone after I close the app?
+Always log out when finished. Inactive sessions time out automatically after 20 minutes.
What are the risks of Mobile Banking?
+The primary risk is unauthorized access if your phone and password are compromised. Keep your phone secured with a passcode or biometrics and use a strong, unique password. Visit FSB's Fraud Prevention Center for additional tips.
How do I reset my password?
+Select Forgot Password on the login screen and follow the prompts. You can also contact FSB for assistance.
Can my account get locked?
