Get to Know Joseph

Joseph Gravert joined FSB as VP, Senior Trust Officer, bringing deep expertise in business, tax, and patent law. Before joining the bank, Joseph worked as an attorney, assisting clients with business transactions, tax strategies, and intellectual property matters.

A Tipton native, Joseph earned degrees from St. Ambrose University (Physics), the University of Iowa College of Law (Juris Doctor), and Indiana University Kelley School of Business (Accounting).

Joseph enjoys building relationships with clients and simplifying financial complexities. He has successfully guided clients through significant tax savings and strategic business restructurings.

Outside the office, Joseph spends time with family, cheers for his favorite sports teams (Hawkeyes, Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Chelsea F.C.), and volunteers with the Iowa State Bar Association. Known for being dedicated, strategic, and fun, Joseph jokes that if he weren’t at FSB, he would pursue a career reviewing pizzas professionally.

My goal is simple: to help clients protect what they’ve built and plan confidently for what’s next.
