FSB Honored With Marion Chamber’s First Business Excellence Award

MARION, IA – Farmers State Bank (FSB) received the first-ever Marion Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award at the Chamber’s awards event on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

The Business Excellence Award recognizes a Marion Chamber member business that demonstrates measurable growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to community impact.

Award Criteria

To be considered for the Marion Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award, a business must:

• Be a current Marion Chamber member in good standing

• Demonstrate measurable business growth, innovation, or adaptability

• Make a significant contribution to the local economy

• Stay actively engaged in the Marion community through philanthropy, volunteerism, or civic involvement

• Exemplify leadership, ethical practices, and a positive workplace culture
